Stewart might've cost Musquin
his first ever 450SX win when he
inadvertently got in Musquin's
way on the last lap while in threat
of being lapped.
"Honestly, I watched the video
and I couldn't go any farther inside
in the whoops on that," Stewart
said of the incident. "Maybe my
only fault, maybe. I was going high
in the berm, halfway up, but I went
all the way back down inside in
the next rhythm section because
nobody was going there. So
Marvin went triple, and he actu-
ally passed me. I went double, he
went triple, so he got in front of
me…I didn't know he was going
to come up short on the triple,
so I just jumped the next triple
and was going to stay down in my
lane, because I had guys behind
me. So he comes up short, goes
to my side, and does whatever he
does.
"Obviously he lost the race
in this situation and maybe he
wants to blame me…I know that
Frankie [Latham], his mechanic,
did. But, if you saw what hap-
pened [in the video] then I
think you'd understand, same
thing with Frankie. There're a
lot of emotions to it. I've got
no hard feelings, I just know
