MARVIN'S MARVELOUS RIDE
Red Bull KTM's Marvin Musquin had a terrible,
but at times, great night in Arlington. It started
off well, as he vied with his teammate Dungey for
the quickest qualifying times, but a bad start and
a crash with Trey Canard sent him to the semis
where he finished second to Justin Bogle. Both he
and Tomac had to go through the semi and both
riders had poor gate picks for the main, and both
riders locked bars going into the first turn, with
Musquin going down. He got up in last place and
rode magnificently from then on out.
Musquin ended up sixth, making up for what ap-
peared to be an awful night for him, ruining anyone
else's excuse of the track being difficult to pass on.
"I am really bummed about the crash off the
start," Musquin said. "I felt really strong today so I
was not happy that put me in the back of the pack.
I am happy with how I rode and glad I was able to
salvage some points."
Had it not been for a first-
turn crash in the Main,
Marvin Musquin could've
claimed the win by how
he rode after the fall. He
went from last to sixth and
showed no signs of slowing.
