TRADERS RACING
KAWASAKI TEAM
TO MAKE SX DEBUT
W
ith the opening round of the 250SX Eastern
Regional Supercross Series less than a
week away, one of the revamped teams to watch
is the Traders Racing Kawasaki Team. The team is
not exactly new but has grown significantly since
last year, recently hiring Skip Norfolk as race di-
rector. Norfolk was Jeremy McGrath's tuner when
McGrath was piling on the SX titles while with
Team Honda. Kenny Day is the team's manager.
The Maryland-based team features riders
Anthony Rodriquez, Justin Starling, Tony Archer
and Nick Gaines. Rodriquez and Starling will
campaign the 250SX East class, while Archer will
hope to make his 450SX debut in Atlanta, as well.
Archer is recently coming off a hand injury.
Unfortunately, Gaines won't make his Traders'
debut until the start of the Lucas Oil Pro Moto-
cross Championship in May. He broke his femur
during the off-season. CN
Traders Racing Kawasaki will have a heavy
presence at the start of the 250SX East
Championship this weekend in Atlanta.
