IN THE WIND P32 YAMAHA ANNOUNCES 2016 bLU cRU MOTOAMERICA TEAMS Y amaha USA has announced the MotoAmerica teams it will support as part of the bLU cRU program that was so successful in 2015. Westby Racing, Broaster Chicken/RoadRace Factory, Wheels In Motion/Meen Racing and TOBC Racing will represent the Tuning Fork brand in 2016, and will aim to continue the dominance shown last season when Yamaha won every single race in the first season of the new MotoAmerica championship across all classes aside from the KTM RC Cup—an incredible total of 64 races. Yamaha will be the most populated brand on the grid once again in the MotoAmerica champi- onship, but will face stiffer competition from the likes of Kawasaki with an all-new ZX-10R in the hands of Latus Motos Racing. CN SUTER MMX 500 TO RACE ISLE OF MAN TT T he delectable 576cc, V4, two-stoke Suter MMX 500 will be on the Glencrutchery Road start line for the Isle of Man Superbike and Senior TT events in 2016. "Suter has built up knowledge and understand- ing on the specifications in recent years, by con- structing modules, complete motorcycles or as supplier to all Grand Prix classes," said company president, Eskil Suter. "We have a phenomenally good power-to-weight ratio. She drives like a bicycle with rocket propulsion. "In collaboration with a renowned university we have found solutions to the challenge of the emis- sions and got it under control," Suter continued, "and that's the reason why we want to go to the toughest road race in the world. For us this is the perfect testing ground. The Senior TT, over six laps of the 60km Snaefell Mountain Course, is just some- thing for the toughest guys among the racers. I'm known indeed to be quite fearless, but the TT is now something where I would definitively prefer to let another rider go first." Suter is said to be in discussion with two previous TT winners for the job of riding the two-stroke beast at the Isle of Man, with an announcement expected soon. CN Isn't she pretty?! Seeing this weapon being raced around the Isle of Man will be something else. TOBC Racing will be one of the teams that make up the bLU cRU for 2016.
