HAYES WINS
BALTIMORE
ARENACROSS
J
acob Hayes, on the Team Babbitt's/
Monster Energy/Amsoil Kawasaki,
padded his lead in the 2016 AMSOIL
Arenacross Series after winning both main
events at the first-ever Arenacross held at
the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama,
February 13. This was the second time this
season that Hayes won both finals.
Second overall went to TiLUBE/Tuf Rac-
ing Honda's Jace Owens who went 5-2 on
the night, while Husqvarna-mounted Austin
Stroupe took third overall with 4-3 finishes.
In the Eastern Regional Arenacross Lites
class, Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/KTM's Sean
Cantrell enjoyed a memorable pro debut, begin-
ning Ricky Carmichael's Road to Supercross with
a win in his first ever AMSOIL Arenacross start. CN

STROUPE FINDS A HOME
F
ormer Suzuki Team factory racer Austin
Stroupe has returned to racing and found a
home on the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory
Racing, by FMC and OTSFF, Team.
Stroupe was riding a privateer Yamaha in the
AMSOIL Arenacross Championship with solid
results and was invited by the team
to fill in for the injured Kyle Regal,
the defending Arenacross Cham-
pion. Stroupe will finish out the
series with the Husky team.
Stroupe's first ride on the Husky
was the Birmingham, Alabama
round on February 14. He finished
third overall in the Arenacross
class.
Austin Stroupe will finish out the 2016
Arenacross Series on the Rockstar
Energy Husqvarna Team.
