there. After they got by me, I
definitely slowed it down, which
I wasn't happy about. I've been
training hard and that shouldn't
have happened. I rode it out and
it's something to build off of; I
know that I need to be able to
put in another five laps."
Webb said that he enjoyed his
duel with Craig.
"We had a good battle,"
Webb said. "There was definitely
some close calls but it was fun.
I wasn't trying to go down; we
rubbed a few times. I was mak-
ing sure I wasn't going to rush
the issue, and I knew that he
wanted to win, but I knew I was
a little faster. I wanted to get by
him because I knew Zach was
right there, too. If we held each
other up too much, we had to
worry about him.
"I think it was a good, clean
race," Webb added. "There was
nobody on the ground which is
good. I love battles like that, the
fans also love it; it's awesome for
us, but at the same time it gets
to a point where you've got to
decide what you're going to do
because you don't want the guys
[behind you] to catch you and
pass you.
"The track was a little one-
lined," Webb said. "It was a little
hard to make passes; you had to
pick your spots [carefully]."
