SUPERSTOCK 600 CHAMPION
No, Joe Roberts is not related to King Kenny,
but he could be a long lost cousin judging by the
way this 18-year-old Los Angeleno road races.
He suffered a bit of criticism for racing in and
dominating the Superstock 600 class on his
Meen Motorsports Yamaha R6, especially after
he won a round of MotoAmerica Supersport in
New Jersey at the end of the year. But that didn't
diminish the fact that Roberts was the comeback
rider of the year in MotoAmerica.
Back on a competitive motorcycle, Roberts
simply blitzed the Superstock 600 Series, win-
ning the championship early, allowing him to
race Supersport at the end of the season, which
is where he's slated to race full-time in 2016. After
his stellar 2015 Roberts is, once again, in the dis-
cussion when it comes to talking about America's
next potential world championship competitor.
