EnduroCross events include three
support classes anyone can enter.
For National Championships, quali-
fying participants are eligible to race
at the final round for a winner-take-
all race with the number-one plate
on the line. This year, Josh Adams
took the Vet-class win and champi-
onship after grabbing the holeshot
and leading the entire way, defend-
ing Vet Champion Stephen Foord
was making up ground when an un-
fortunate broken chain set up a DNF.
Jason Gitchel and John Beal fin-
ished second and third, respectively.
In the Open Amateur class, Spenser
Wilton took the holeshot with Mi-
chael Aranda moving into the lead
on the second lap. Second place
went to Ryan Wells after a three-
lap battle for the spot and Stephen
Foord (with a new chain) fought up
into third by the final lap.
The Trialscross class was won by Ita-
ly's Emanuel Angius in a dominating
race. Chad Redman and Nathan
Brown rounded out the podium.
Once again, the Trialscross class
had a great turnout with ten racers
on the gate for the main event.
Beta's Kyle Redmond came out on
the short end of the stick of a three-
way tie in the final championship
standings. Redmond came into the
final holding down fourth place in the
Pro class but finished out the night
in a three-way points tie for fourth
with Taylor Robert and Max Ger-
ston. In EnduroCross, tiebreakers
are broken by the finishing order in
the last Main event of the year, which
meant Redmond went from fourth to
seventh in the final standings. (Both
