Seeds ended up having to
make an unscheduled pit stop
after the rear axle nut came
loose on his John Burr Cycles/
Renthal/Moose Racing KX450F.
He eventually got going again to
finish sixth in class and eighth
overall. Ryan Reina was the
main beneficiary of Seeds' mis-
fortune, landing on the podium
for the second time this season
with third place aboard his John
Burr Cycles/TBT Suspension/
AXO KX450F.
This round saw WCGP Pro II
rider Trevor Stewart get a great
start, actually running second
overall behind Seeds in the early
going. Eventually, he gave way to
several of the 450s, but no other
Pro IIs managed to pass him and
his Enzo/Maxxis/EKX Brand
Goggles YZ250. "I just rode a
really smart and solid race," he
analyzed. "I know what I had to
do and that was to beat Nick
Stover and that's what I did."
Indeed, Stover ended up third
in class aboard his 3 Brothers
Racing/STI Tires/Troy Lee De-
signs Husky TC 250 with FMF/
GPR/Leatt KTM 250 XC-mount-
ed Mitch Anderson second Pro II
and seventh overall.
