WORCS podium finish of the
season with his third-place
effort. Interestingly, his first po-
dium came at the same venue,
in February.
"I had some problems in the
last round, but it's nice to come
in here and finish on the po-
dium," said Seeds. "I'm happy
with the way I rode this year, and
I just have to get more consistent
and get on the box more often.
I'm going to work hard in the off
season and come back strong
next year."
RPM/KTM's Travis Coy's
fourth-place finish moved him
into the top three in the WORCS
Pro Championships points in his
rookie year, which was big ac-
complishment for the 2014 Pro 2
Champion.
"To finish third in points after
winning the Pro 2 Championship
last year is huge for me," said
Coy. "There were a lot of people
that had problems this year,
including myself. This gives me a
lot of confidence and excitement
for next year."
Justin Jones appeared to have
the bike to beat, but mechani-
cal issues, which he blamed on
himself, took him out of the race
at the midpoint.
"We definitely thought we had
the speed," said Jones. "I'm ma-
turing a bit and learning some-
thing every race. Unfortunately
we had a little bad luck with the
bike. The Honda has been great
all year, so I'm sure it was some-
thing I did."
In Pro 2 class, Dalton Shirey
grabbed the holeshot and ran
off with the win, handing him
third place in the championship.
Shirey plans to step up to the
Pro class next year. Michael Del
Fante and Travis Damon round-
ed out the top three.
"I had arm pump in the middle
of the race, but once that went
I away I was just charging," said
Shirey. "I just felt like I could do
no wrong. It's pretty exciting to
finish the season this way. This
was a perfect race."
In the Pro 2 Lites class, Logan
Chambers won the race and
the championship, and Thor
Amador and Mitch Anderson
rounded out the top-three at the
season finale. "I had to fight
through some issues this year,"
said Chambers. "I'm just happy
to come out of here with the win
and the championship."
Harlen Foley
Dalton Shirey scored a wire-to-wire win in the Pro 2 class.
Logan Chambers wrapped up the Pro 2 Lites Championship.
