MOTOCROSS MONSTER ENERGY MOTOCROSS OF NATIONS SEPTEMBER 26-27, 2015 ERNEE CIRCUIT / ERNEE, FRANCE P92 MXoN performance will forever go down in history but for the first half of this race he was in real danger of losing the crown of "the most impressive 250 MXoN display." Musquin was amazing, catching up to Barcia and then passing him, much to delight of the screaming fans. The next few laps were a blur of action, as "Bam Bam" (Barcia) wasn't letting this go without a fight, the lead swapping mul- tiple times with aggressive, but clean racing. It came to end as Musquin crashed (on his own); however, that battle really set the event up as the all-out war it French pride. They were briefly silenced, though, as Barcia swept around the first turn of the opening race with a massive holeshot, but after the split second of dismay, they soon took to cheering on Paulin and Musquin. Before the race there was a lot of talk about Musquin's wrist, and whether he was mentally and physi- cally ready for this race. Those doubts were squashed within minutes though as he set about tearing through all the 450 ma- chines around him, not worrying about his 200 fewer cc's. Ryan Villopoto's Budds Creek tee list of Ken Roczen, Antonio Cairoli, Clement Desalle, Jeffrey Herlings and Kevin Strijbos and this definitely wasn't the star- studded event of year's past. Not that the majority of 80,000 fans in attendance cared about that, because for them, it was all about Gautier Paulin, Marvin Musquin and Romain Febvre. These were their heroes and they were de- termined to make as much noise as possible supporting them. Air horns, car engines, chainsaws and voice boxes all were used to great effect with the result be- ing a hair-raising cacophony of Paulin tries to hold off Barcia.
