held a comfortable 2-4 second
gap for a few laps but Husqvar-
na's Mike Brown worked his way
into second and he started com-
pletely jumping over the water
hole, which was spectacular for
the crowd and also allowed him
to start to close in. But Brown
made a few mistakes in the Ma-
Robert nearly went down and
held up Abbott and several other
riders, which allowed Webb,
who had quickly picked up his
bike, to move into the top five.
Ty Tremaine, Webb's young
teammate, took the lead and bat-
tled back and forth with Utah's
Nick Thompson, who has proven
to be one of the up and comers
in EnduroCross this season.
Unfortunately for Thompson,
