"Ryan rode really well today and
so did the rest of the guys so I'm
pretty pumped; we're leading and
I had a good day," Russell said.
"Now it's just time to keep repeat-
ing."
U.S. World Trophy Team Man-
ager Antti Kallonen said, "That's
been kind of our struggle; it's
always been kind of a late start [for
us to get rolling], but we've put a
lot of effort into preparation—get-
ting used to the bike setups and
tires and everything. I had a train-
ing camp and all that so the guys
know what to expect when you
come to day one and it showed."
