MOTOCROSS FIM MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL ROUND / SEPTEMBER 19-20, 2015 GLEN HELEN RACEWAY / SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA P86 always does well here, and he had extra incentive to do well since he has not yet landed a team for the 2016 season. (He's currently filling in on the Monster Energy Kawasaki squad.) A grand prix victory would certainly look good on his resume, and it certainly looked as though he was go- ing to get one based on his performance during the first half of the first moto. Grant got around both Cairoli and Webb early and opened up a small lead, only to have Webb catch back up after Grant twisted his right ankle. After a heated exchange with Webb, Grant slipped to second, then third when Febvre came calling. Between motos, the ankle was treated and Grant came out swinging once again, taking the early lead and this time holding off a late charge by Febvre, which was helped when the Frenchman made TLD/Lucas Oil/Red Bull KTM teammates Jessy Nelson (79) and Shane McElrath (70) went 1-2 on the MX2 podium. Nelson won both motos.
