MOTOCROSS FIM MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL ROUND / SEPTEMBER 19-20, 2015 GLEN HELEN RACEWAY / SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA P82 Alldredge, who finished second in the first moto, had not gone down in the second moto, it could very well have been an all- American MX2 podium. Instead, it was Guillod, on the Standing Construct Yamaha/Yamalube made up two-thirds of the MX2 podium, with teammates Jessy Nelson and Shane McElrath going 1-2 on the day. Nelson dominated both motos going 1-1, while McElrath went 3-2 for second overall. Had Chris really fast. I could only manage second place but it meant the overall. To win was my goal and especially at this mythical track." In MX2 (250cc), Slovenia's Tim Gajser wrapped up the division championship after a season-long, roller-coaster battle with Swiss rider Valentin Guillod, Great Britain's Max Anstie and Latvia's Pauls Jonass. Gajser, of the Honda Gariboldi Team, led Jonass by 18 points going into the final and did what he had to do to nail Honda's first MX2 title since 1995 (Alessand Puzar) when the class was made up of 125cc two-strokes. Gajser didn't make the podium but he did finish ahead of Jonass in both motos to get the title. TLD/Lucas Oil KTM riders (Above) Grant tries to cool off after the first MXGP moto. Everyone was feeling the heat. (Right) Tim Gajser (243) and Pauls Jonass (41) finished off the MX2 Championship 1-2.
