Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Rac- ing's Josh Strang was in the hunt all day, as well, and led most of the early part of the race after turning in the fastest time in test one. Strang edged Bobbitt in the final test to take second overall, a career-best for the Aussie rider. Strang's teammate, Andrew DeLong, started the race in third, but crashes doomed the Pennsylvania rider to an eventual seventh overall. Bobbitt entered the final test sitting second overall, but a big get-off took the Georgia rider out of his rhythm and he ended the day in third. Having won the previous round, Steward Baylor started the race on the first Pro row, but the MotoTech KTM rider got off to a ter- rible start, finishing 12 th in the opening test. Later in the race, though, Baylor had the good fortune of getting through test six before the heavy rains hit, which helped him to move (Left) Steward Baylor got off to a slow start but was able to finish up before the rains came. (Right) Aussie Josh Strang turned it up a notch and enjoyed one of his best U.S. enduros of his career.
