VOL. 52 ISSUE 33 AUGUST 18, 2015 P99 THE FUTURE OF U.S. RACING "I don't care if you're American, Australian, from Timbuktu, I don't care. What I look for is what I call moments of brilliance, and apart from that, domination. So if you have a Moto2 guy for instance, somebody like Randy Krummenacher in a test, and he's leading the sheets, for me, that's a moment of brilliance because he's not normally in there. "But what I really want to see is domination. Simple. If you're going to beat Josh Hayes by half a second, all that tells me is you and Josh Hayes are the same speed. And I'm not saying anything against Josh Hayes. He's a great rider, a badass rider. But if you want to go to Europe and you want to do business, I want you to beat Josh Hayes by 10 seconds. "Do you actually think Marquez wants to beat Valentino by half a second? No. He wants to de- moralize him, stomp his ass in the dirt, so he has two weeks to think about it before the next race. So when you see somebody dominate and as far as in the US right now, like what JD Beach is doing, he's not worrying about just getting out in front, he just keeps going, and I like to see that. "I've had long talks with Wayne (Rainey) in the past few months on this. He said it the way it is. In Europe, when that red light goes out, it's f**king go time. Once you get to world level, there's no playing around. It is 110 percent every single corner, every single lap."
