THE LIFE OF A MICHELIN
"It's great fun. What I'm on is the best bike in the
world, the same as Valentino and Jorge. Michelin have
had to work on the front tire. The rear tire has a lot of
grip. I have a lot of info, which I'll keep to myself, but
right now the main thing is the way the bikes are set
up now with 16.5-in Bridgestones, they are set up a
particular way.
"Everyone's going to have to adapt but all this crazy
hard ass braking with the bike sideways and leaned
over, you simply can't do that on the 17-in Michelin
front. The front Bridgestone they have now is unbeliev-
able. You can pull 10-bar brake pressure with 50-degree
lean angle and it just keeps gripping. With the Michelin,
