VOL. 52 ISSUE 33 AUGUST 18, 2015 P49 ing into play in any major way in the 250cc National Champion- ship. The reason why is because it's pretty well understood that Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha teammates Cooper Webb and Jeremy Martin don't like each other, and the other (healthy) Star racer, Aaron Plessinger, isn't a consistent frontrunner just yet. However, for the last couple of weeks, Webb has been doing what he can to get into Marvin Musquin's head by yelling at him on the starting line. Rumor is that Webb has been yelling things like, "Hey, Marvin! You ready to race?! Let's do this! went up once he lost the lead. "It definitely was disappoint- ing to lose last year," Dungey said. "But there was something that was upsetting me. I couldn't seem to find how to control myself...mentally. I was kind of struggling in that department. I started to gather it together, but it was just a little too late by the end of last year. I think the biggest thing that kind of fell into place was with [trainer] Aldon [Baker]. Well two things, Aldon and the bike." 250 Team Tactics? On the surface, it wouldn't seem like team tactics would be com- And then in the second moto, Roczen again put in some early sprint laps to steal the lead away from Barcia's teammate Phil Ni- coletti, and then the race played out almost like a carbon copy of moto one, as Dungey chased Roczen down, forced a mistake from Roczen, and then put the hammer down after he passed his rival, while Roczen's lap times My Own Race: 15 DEAN WILSON 7 TH O/A (10-5) 450 Red Bull KTM's Dean Wilson is finally back at the races after missing nearly all of the 2015 season. He returned for Unadilla last weekend, and then in Utah he put in his best finish—and best ride, really—of his 450cc career. "Oh yeah, it was awesome," Wilson said. "That's what I needed. I needed that fight at the end that I haven't had in a while. I felt really good. I'm quite happy with myself, to be honest. First moto I didn't get a great start and kind of struggled in the back and got 10th. The second one I really fought for the start and was like top five. I was running fourth for a while and then Blake [Baggett] passed me and Trey [Canard] passed me. But then I kind of put myself togeth- er a little bit and ended up passing Trey the last lap. I was really happy with that. Just need to keep working hard and get better starts for next week so I can try and have results like I did the second moto in both motos in Indiana." 4 BLAKE BAGGETT 4TH O/A (4-4) 450 Yoshimura Suzuki's Blake Baggett almost snagged his second podium finish of the season, but although he tied in points on the day with Justin Barcia, Barcia finished in front of Baggett in moto two and got the final podium nod. Both times out, Baggett had to come from pretty far back to get up to his favored position of fourth place. He finished the first lap in both motos in 12th place before fighting his way up to fourth. With better starts, he knows he should be closer to the front. "It was a pretty good weekend," Baggett explained. "We were just shy of the podium. We had a tie in points (with third-place finisher Justin Barcia), but just didn't have as good of a second moto. A fourth overall…we'll take it and we're still sitting fourth in the points for the season. We're going to dig deep and see what we can do next week in Indiana and finish it out strong."
