MOTOCROSS
LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
ROUND 11 / AUGUST 15, 2015
MILLER MOTORSPORTS PARK / TOOLE, UTAH
P48
until, with about five minutes to
go on the clock, Dungey found
his spot and made the pass,
then put the hammer down, de-
moralizing Roczen, who seemed
to give up at that point. The lap
Dungey made the pass on Roc-
zen, Dungey's lap time dropped
from a 1:55.2 to a 1:53.9, while
Roczen's climbed from 1:55.5 to
a 1:56.0. That was that.
Roczen has had his ups
and downs this year, and now
he's the one struggling with his
setup. In the first moto, Roczen
got out front and got away from
the field before Dungey fought
his way into second. Dungey
didn't need to win the moto to
win the title, but he went after
Roczen anyway.
Dungey pressured Roczen
off to say that Dungey ended up
stealing away Roczen's trainer
Aldon Baker. Neither one likes
to lose, but they especially don't
like to lose to each other.
Jeremy Martin (1) and Marvin
Musquin (25) went into the Utah
round separated by just two points in
their race for the 250 title. They left
separated by the exact same margin.
