contact patch, with the 16.5in, your contact patch is
fatter and shorter. So when you go into a corner you
carry that around, whereas a 17-in, the contact patch
becomes longer and narrower. So the amount of rubber
that you actually have on the ground is less. And once
you gather that concept and learn how to set the bike
up then it's not bad. But if you try to bring a Bridges-
tone-setup bike with Michelin tires, it doesn't work.
"Lorenzo will be the first guy to adapt. Obviously
Valentino will because he knows from old days (of 17in
tires). I think Marquez will struggle with his braking
style. It's the same for everybody, but they cannot ride
the bike like they're riding now. They cannot get away
with murder."
