suspension, lighter weight, etc.)
that the new KTMs got and are
completely different motorcycles
from the previous Husky models.
The new Husqvarnas, how-
ever, aren't exactly the same as
the KTMs, the biggest difference
being Husqvarna's new carbon
fiber subframe/airbox combo.
The Huskys also have different
Magura-made clutches (but still
the Damped Diaphragm Steel
design), D.I.D rims, GSK brake
rotors, ProTaper handlebars (ver-
sus KTM's Neken) and restyled
bodywork.
Although the new Husqvarna's
will come fitted with Dunlop
MX52 tires, our bikes were, for
the day, mounted up with MX32
rubber, which the Husky folks
felt provided better grip on the
Budds Creek terrain.
