ot only did Husqvarna reveal
its 2016 line of two-stroke
and four-stroke motocross
models last week (see page 48),
but they also gave us a chance
to sample all five of its brand-
new big-bike models: TC 125
and TC 250 two-strokes, and
FC 250, FC 350 and FC 450
four-strokes. Husqvarna held
its world launch at Maryland's
Budds Creek Raceway, and we
were there and got a chance to
ride them all.
As mentioned, the 2016
Husky's are nearly identical to
the 2016 KTM motocross bikes.
(KTM, as you probably know by
now, owns Husqvarna.) And you
might remember that the 2016
KTM four-strokes are essentially
updated versions of the latest
Factory Edition models, like the
bikes that Red Bull KTM Factory
teammates Ryan Dungey (450)
and Marvin Musquin (250) are
currently racing. In other words,
the new Husky's took on all of
the same major updates (new
frame, compact motor, updated
