VOL. 52 ISSUE 30 JULY 28, 2015 P41 seconds ahead of Guillod. But Anstie suffered a big crash in the second moto and did not return to action. Guillod went on to take the second-moto win ahead of Honda rider Tim Gajser. KTM's Pauls Jonass was awarded second overall with a 4-3 tally, while Kawasaki's Jordi Tixier took third overall with a 3-6. Kawasaki rider from Bul- garia Petar Petrov rounded out the top five overall. The race for the MX2 title has been blown wide open after it was announced that points leader going into the race Jeffrey Herlings will miss the rest of the season with an injury. Gajser and Guillod are currently tied for second (24 points behind Herlings), and Jonass is just 10 points behind in third. Tixier is fourth but has some catching up to do; he's 19 points down on Jonass. CN HERLINGS SIDELINED AGAIN R ed Bull Factory KTM Team's Jeffrey Herlings suffered yet another major setback in his young rac- ing career. The oft-injured rider crashed during a qualification moto on Saturday, July 25, at the FIM World Championship round at Loket, Czech Republic. He was hit by another rider, suffering a dislocated hip. The injury will keep the current MX2-points leader off the bike for the rest of the season, according to the team's MX2 Factory Team Manager Dirk Gruebel. "It was a pretty tough weekend on everybody, especially Jeffrey," Gruebel said. "He tried so hard to come back [from a previous injury] to race here. He gave everything, all he had and even more, and somehow he didn't get the re- ward for it. In the qualifying, he hit a stone and lost it over the front, and he told me that from then on it just went bad. Another rider hit him, the hip is out and unfortu- nately that's the end of the story for this season. Now he needs to get some rest, heal up and be ready for next year." CN Valentin Guillod topped the MX2 class, which is now up for grabs with five rounds left.
