moto. On the day, Savatgy ended
up going 12-21 and Alldredge 25-32.
The team already lost Adam Cian-
ciarulo to a shoulder injury before
the RedBud National. At least Tonus
returned and finished third in the first
moto. "Coming off of a podium last
week, I thought we could have an-
other strong weekend," said Savat-
gy. "The weather and the track threw
us a curveball though as that added
another challenge to go along with
all of the great riders in our class.
We know we have the speed to be
up front so we will keep working to
get back on the podium at Unadilla.
Many other riders returned to rac-
ing at Washougal, including Honda
HRC's Trey Canard. He was fast at
Washougal but suffered a few minor
falls in the slick mud. Rockstar En-
ergy Husqvarna's Martin Davalos
made his return after dealing with the
Epstein-Barr virus. He rode a cau-
tious race, going 20-17 for 21
st
overall
in the 250 class. Mike Alessi raced
for the first time in the U.S. since
injuring his back at the Daytona Su-
percross. He also struggled in the
mud going 29-19. Monster Energy
Kawasaki's Wil Hahn skipped this
one with a rib injury but he is hoping
to return at the next round at Unadilla
in two weeks. Honda HRC's Cole
Seely continues to heal up from a
leg injury; his return is race by race.
Yoshimura Suzuki's Blake Baggett
also had a tough day in the mud. Af-
ter finishing fifth in the first 450 moto,
he was involved in a big first-turn
pileup putting him into survival mode
the rest of the race. He went 5-12 for
ninth overall but still has firm control
of third in the points standings.
