MOTOCROSS
LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
ROUND 9 / JULY 25, 2015
WASHOUGAL MX PARK / WASHOUGAL, WASHINGTON
P96
(Above) Rockstar Energy
Husqvarna's Christophe Pourcel
is no stranger to racing in the mud
and it showed at Washougal. The
Frenchman rode a solid race in
both motos to get on the 450-class
podium.
(Above right) Defending 250 champ
Jeremy Martin had a frustrating
day. He suffered a bad start in the
first moto and couldn't put together
his usual come-from-behind charge
in the mud, struggling with mucked-
up goggles. In the second moto,
he was just a few laps away from
winning when he went down in
a turn.
(Right) Christian Craig (68)
has really turned into a thorn in
everyone's side since coming out
of retirement. Despite a recently
dislocated shoulder, Craig led the
first two laps of the first 250 moto
and was pulling away when he
slipped in the mud. He still finished
up fourth overall.
