In the end, Barcia's 2-1 moto
finishes trumped Dungey's 1-2
Dungey off balance, frustrat-
ing the Red Bull KTM rider and
keeping him from getting enough
momentum to make a pass.
Interestingly, one of the things
that Barcia said helped him most
in the race was that his team told
course deteriorated throughout
the day, Barcia picked smart
lines. And when Dungey closed
to within a bikes-length on the fi-
nal two laps of the second moto,
Barcia switched up those lines
at the appropriate times to keep
