VOL. 52 ISSUE 27 JULY 7, 2015 P91 Briefly... Adam Cianciarulo sat out RedBud due to a sore shoulder he suffered in a practice crash on Thursday before the race. Luckily, it was not the shoul- der the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider injured last year that took so long to rehab. However, the shoulder was still swollen on Friday and the team decided it wasbest for Cianciarulo to sit out the race. Team HRC Honda's Cole Seely sat out of competition for the sec- ond straight week, following a crash while practicing just prior to the Budds Creek race. After trying to ride late this week, Seely and his team thought it best to take some more time to heal a pulled muscle in his leg. Justin Hill made his return to rac- ing at RedBud after missing several rounds due to a concussion. The Red Bull KTM rider went 11-15 for 14 th . Yamaha came close tp having an epic weekend in motocross, with Justin Barcia and Jeremy Martin winning both classes at the RedBud National and Romain Febvre winning the MXGP class in Sweden the next day. Unfortunately, Yamaha didn't quite win them all with Honda rider Tim Gaisjr taking the MX2-class win in Sweden. Yamaha, however, did take second overall thanks to Valen- tin Guillod. Still, it was a pretty darn good weekend for Yamaha at the top level in motocross. There was talk in the pits that RCH Suzuki's Ken Roczen wasn't quite 100 percent at RedBud. If that was the case, he made no mention of separated us a bit, but I was feeling confident and happy with the result. I won last week in the mud and I knew people would think that I won because of the conditions, so I really wanted to win in dry conditions and show tally and Barcia walked away with his second-straight win. "In the first moto I got the holeshot, but Dungey closed in and made the pass," said Bar- cia. "I closed back in but then some lappers got in the way and Jeremy Martin (1) never gave up in both 250 motos and was rewarded with the overall win.
