more I will be learning. It's tough
to get thrown into the deep end."
Overall, though, Hahn, a
former 250 Supercross Cham-
pion, says he is enjoying riding
the 450.
"I'm loving every minute of it,"
he said. "I'm loving it, it's just
that we all have a little bit of an
ego and I won't be happy until
I'm where I want to be. That
first moto, I saw the light at the
end of the tunnel, 'I'm there, I'm
almost there.'"
He says his injuries that he
suffered at the Anaheim I Super-
cross are all healed.
"Health-wise, I'm all healthy,
I'm all good," he said. "I'm sore,
no doubt. The track was brutal
and I didn't have much time
before this, but we're just making
the best out of it."

GAS GAS FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY
N
o longer able to carry the
weight of its debts, Spanish
motorcycle manufacturer Gas
Gas has declared bankruptcy. In
a letter that went out to import-
ers worldwide, Gas Gas Motos
President Yariv Gilat explained
the company's decision to file for
"insolvency."
"Existing shareholders have
not given the necessary efforts
to find sufficient funds to endure
the future of the company, al-
though at that time the chances
of success in this arduous task
is not high."
The company remains hope-
ful, however, that the current
situation will provide the start
of a new beginning by way of
inviting new investors.
"We are confident that with
this new scenario, the com-
pany will be able to attract
new investors and continue to
produce excellent products,"
read a statement from Gilat.
"The potential new investors
in the company will find com-
petent and passionate people
who are constantly working to
improve our bikes, and many
partners [importers] who strive
to promote and market our bikes
everywhere."
GasGas Motos S.A. is cur-
rently under the conservatorship
of a court-appointed trustee,
tasked with ensuring continu-
ity in the company's worldwide
parts support. Gas Gas has
declared its commitment to "pro-
vide all necessary assistance" in
order to fulfill after-sales service
and parts distribution.
Despite its commitment to
continuing its parts support, it
appears the factory has ceased
to support its race teams, which
has left its world trials competi-
tors Adam Raga and Arnau Farre
high and dry. Raga is the 2015
World Indoor Trials Champi-
onship runner-up, and is cur-
rently leading the Spanish Trials
Championship. However, in the
U.S., Geoff Aaron, a Gas Gas
support rider, will continue to
receive backing.
