"I got off to a good start and won
the first test, but I've done that at all
of the nationals so far and still came
up short," said Russell. "But today
was good and the new bike is awe-
some. I love this bike and it goes a
long ways when you're having fun on
the bike."
Russell also added a twist, which
he felt made a big difference.
"We stopped running Bark Bust-
ers and I'm more confident running
in the trees now and that helped out
a lot today," said Russell. "A lot of
people don't understand why I don't
like to run Bark Busters but I just ride
better without them."
The two tests that Russell didn't
win he had tip-overs. He said that
the final test was so tough because
it had a lot of new trail and he had a
hard time seeing the rocks.
