Baggett coming in the second
moto. Baggett's 4-6 gave him
fifth overall.
PEICK STEPS UP
Finishing between Anderson
and Baggett in fourth overall was

Yamaha's Weston Peick who
had one of the best rides of his
career. Peick, who days earlier
had his contract with the team
extended through 2016, went
from third to eighth in the first
moto then seventh to third in the
second moto, passing teammate
Justin Barcia straight up along
the way, which you know prob-
ably didn't sit well with the team's
star rider. This could be the start
of something interesting down
the road.
Barcia, however, did have his
moments. He was right in the
mix of things in the first moto
before getting something in his
eye and then crashing into a
fence, twisting the front of his
motorcycle so badly that he
couldn't continue. The second
moto, he was holding his own in
third before a rejuvenated Peick
swooped in and got him.
Broc Tickle kind of flew his
Soaring Eagle/RCH Suzuki
under the radar at Hangtown. He
put in two solid rides, going 6-8
in both motos for sixth overall.
Each time, Tickle finished just
ahead of Rockstar Energy Rac-
ing Husqvarna's newest mem-
ber Christophe Pourcel, who
looked good on the Husky but
just couldn't make passes quick
enough.
HRC Honda's Cole Seely had
a terrible start to his rookie sea-
son in the 450 class. He was left
on the ground in the second turn
of the first moto and was slow to
his feet. He never returned. The
team reported that he smacked
his head in the fall and injured
his leg.
"That took me out and it
wasn't going to be smart of me
to line up for moto two," Seely
later said. "I'm healthy and will
be ready to line up at Glen Hel-
en. We'll try again next week."
