"I'm living in Kentucky with a
great family—the Gillims—they
have helped me out a lot," said
Beach. "The winters there are
cold, man. I'm riding my bicycle
and it's 20 degrees outside, and
I'm putting in the miles, putting in
the work. To finally get that first
win again, it's amazing."
The road to that win hasn't
been easy, because unfor-
tunately for Beach, as timing
would have it, there were no

In the post race press conference,
JD Beach dedicated the race win to
the Westby family who recently lost
longtime AMA racer Dane Westby to
a streetbike accident in the family's
hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. "It's
great to get this first win but definitely
I'd like to dedicate this race to the
Westby family," Beach said. "They
had a great loss a few weeks ago.

and I've watched Cameron for a long
time and a bunch of people, so I
was trying to figure out what works
best for me and every year it seems
like something works better." What
changes did he make exactly? "This
year I'm just trying to ride a lot more
relaxed and not force the bike and
it's been working so far."
After a rough Moto2 season last
year, Josh Herrin is ready to bounce
back with his new team Wheels In
Motion Motorsport.com Meen Ya-
maha. The former AMA Superbike
champ was confident that they had
the tools for success. "That's the
main reason why I signed up with
them [Meen Motorsports]," Herrin
said. "I've seen over the past two
years that they're just getting stron-
ger and stronger… they definitely
