SUPERCROSS MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES, AN FIM WORLD ROUND 14/APRIL 11, 2015 NRG DOME/HOUSTON, TEXAS P70 for Dungey, Roger DeCoster and the KTM crew. KTM, never known to be a powerhouse in Supercross, is now just that. With just one finish outside the top-three all season, a fourth at A1, Dungey has accumulated what is arguably the most sta- tistically dominant season since Monster Energy Supercross expanded to 17 races during the 2008 season. "Obviously, for me, Houston couldn't come quick enough," said Dungey. "We had an op- portunity to get it done here, but I had to take care of business, too." "In the main event, I got off to a good start, but then I got edged out by somebody on the inside. And then I got shuffled around a little bit," added Dungey. "A few guys were going back and forth and then [Justin] Barcia was trying to do crazy things, so there was a lot of things going on out there on the track that was nuts. "Obviously, we worked for that one, but we came away with sec- ond place, which is more than we needed [to clinch the title]. There was plenty of arm raising in Houston. Cooper Webb celebrates clinching the 250 West Supercross crown.
