2015 GSX-S750 FIRST RIDE P94 wet and somewhat slippery. Though not an optimum situation to put the GSX through its paces in terms of self-indulgence, it did provide a test situation for tracking and stability in the wet. The way the 750 builds power, with predictable, smooth throttle response, gives the rider con- fidence in managing the rear end. The linear power delivery removes concern about ac- cidentally stepping out the rear wheel, especially in slippery road conditions. Conversely, the feedback from the front end is so positive I was actually com- fortable trailbraking the Suzuki in the wet. Perhaps the most attractive aspect of the 750 is its middle- weight power. More response and a better bottom end than most 600s, yet just shy of the sometimes overwrought power most 1000s possess, makes the GSX-S a sensible choice. The machine is a charm to ride, providing more than enough performance to keep even the most accomplished rider thor- oughly entertained, while being controllable and tame enough for less experienced or less ac- complished riders; an excellent bike to mature into. The GSX-S750 is a genu- ine crossover sport machine, capable of aggressive riding with a balanced package of motor, brakes, and chassis. Yet the for- giving powerband and comfort- able seating position grant the GSX an ease of use that makes it an everyday rider. And, to take it a step further, with Suzuki accessory saddlebags, you can turn the bike into a weekend get away tool. With the increased MPG coupled with a 4.6-gal- lon tank the GSX has a poten- tial range just past 200-miles (though I seriously doubt you could traverse that many miles without getting into the throttle enough to undo the optimistic MPG estimate). Wrap all of this up in a very reasonable MSRP of $7,999 and it's safe to say Suzu- ki has delivered a serious volley in the form of a motorcycle that delivers on numerous fronts— class leading performance and a very agreeable price point.
