mance in Thailand.
Definitely a lot better than
last weekend! The first moto
was really good and felt good.
Clement [Desalle] was riding
really well and kept pushing me.
In the second moto, I didn't get
the start that I wanted to and
was held up in the first couple of
turns. I'm still learning the sys-
tem. Even when we had practice
on Saturday and races on Sun-
day [at the AMA Pro Motocross
Nationals] it was just a little bit
of riding and no racing. I'm still
getting used to it, my body, also.
Each weekend we race I will be
learning how to play the game
because there is some strategy
involved. It is my second round
and I need to learn quickly.
These guys were riding well,
and you have to use your head
and be smart. This was just the
fourth moto of I-don't-know-
how-many left. To put in that
burst and crash or risk a mistake
was not worth it at this point in
time. If there were two races to
go it would be a different story.
Podiums are okay, but race wins
are what we want; it is 50 points
at the end of the day.
…the short trip back to
Europe for testing after the
GP of Qatar the previous
weekend.
I felt better on the bike and we
made some changes this week-
end—changed it quite a bit—and
it felt better. We only had two
days [to test] but the progress
we made was really good. After
this weekend we have two
weeks off so we will be able to
go back and work some more.
It was all suspension stuff and
