"I had a couple of tip-overs but nothing major," said Strang. "I had goggle issues all day, I think a lot of people did, but I lost my goggles every test and that's frustrating. Some tests I felt good and some tests I felt really bad, and I'm not too happy with that last test; I lost quite a bit of time, so we'll keep working." Beta USA's Cory Buttrick turned in a solid performance for seventh. The Ohio rider fell in test one, but made up for it with some good times later in the day. "I felt like we finished the day pretty well, unfortunately I had a fall in the first test and got off on the wrong foot," said Buttrick. In the second test, the Ohio rider snagged his gear shift lever on a tree and bent it back behind his footpeg and had to ride the en- tire 10-mile test in second gear. "Unfortunately test two was a long one, and it was a very fast test, so running it in second gear (Below)Aussie Josh Strang is still adapting to the national enduro format and had an up and down day to finish sixth.
