and RCH Racing's Ken Roczen
to take his best finish in second.
Canard was breathing down
his neck for most of the race
but made a mistake in the sand
section and dropped back to
sixth, Seely was comfortably in
second until the end of the race
when Roczen and Tomac were
closing in. And when Tomac
made a bold pass on Roczen at
the start of the final lap it really
heated up.
"I could feel him [Tomac]
breathing down my neck there
at the last couple laps," Seely
said. "It was actually crazy, the
two lap board didn't come out
and I was just thinking, 'I've got
another whole three laps to go
with this.' When I saw that white
flag it was a little bit of a sigh of
relief and I just tried to put every
ounce I had in me back into that
last lap."
Although it wasn't a win,
Tomac was happy to be on the
podium and ahead of champi-
onship rival Roczen. And with
