MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES, AN FIM WORLD SUPERCROSS T he words smooth and con- sistent don't set the world on fire, but they describe Red Bull KTM's Ryan Dungey. And that's exactly how he won Saturday night's Monster Energy AMA Supercross Anaheim III race. It's also exactly how he earned the red plate the week- end before at Oakland. So with five races, four differ- ent winners, 2015 has lived up to its "who's next" hype. In the 250 West Supercross class, Yamalube Star Racing Ya- maha's Cooper Webb's third win of the season, makes him Mr. Consistent as well. Consistently winning, with the most wins in his class to give him an 18-point lead in the championship. DUNGEY'S TURN Ryan Dungey won A3 in true Dungey fashion—being smooth and consistent—and that is ROUND 5/JANUARY 31, 2015 ANGELS STADIUM OF ANAHEIM/ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA P62 BY ANDREA WILSON PHOTOGRAPHY BY KIT PALMER AND ANDREA WILSON CONSISTENCY PAYS RYAN DUNGEY STRETCHES POINTS LEAD TO 11 WITH HIS FIRST WIN OF THE YEAR
