CONSISTENCY PAYING OFF
In the meantime, Dungey
seemed to benefit at least as
much as Canard did from Roc-
zen's crash, with the Red Bull
KTM rider moving into the points
lead. All in all, it was another con-
sistent performance for Dungey
who seems to have the "tortoise"
mentality when it comes to win-
ning championships. But Dung-
ey's runner-up finish didn't come
as easily as it looked.
"It was really hairy in the first
few turns, just getting through
that was key," said Dungey. "I
kind of was hanging in there,
and I was struggling on the back
rhythm section. I couldn't find a
line going into that thing to save
me. Finally I picked one up, but
it was after the mistake I made
and guys passed me. So that

holeshot on his
BTO Sports KTM
and led the first
three laps.
