a little time before I felt like I could go really fast.
But we got the bike so solid that I'm really comfort-
able on it and I think that shows, and a happy rider
is a fast rider."
Even though the Ricky Carmichael-led team is
technically considered a satellite team, it is fully
supported by the factory. Another bonus is that he
got to bring his longtime mechanic, Kelly Lumgair,
with him from KTM.
"Kelly's part of Team 94," said Roczen. "That
was one of the things I wanted, was to have Kelly
come with me. He knows me the best and we've
been together for many years."
Asked if he felt there was anything that needed
to be improved on, Roczen thinks they are on a
good track.
"I think we are all going really fast right now, and
my fitness is great, so I think it's good now to con-
centrate on having good practice days and not get
down on yourself," said Roczen. CN
