HAHN INJURED
I
t was a nightmare debut for Wil Hahn who was
set to compete in his first race as a member of
the Monster Energy Kawasaki factory race team
at Anaheim I, January 3. In the first timed practice
session, Hahn, the 2013 250 East Supercross
Champion, lost control of his bike and was thrown
violently onto the face of a jump and suffered mul-
tiple injuries.
Hahn was immediately taken to the hospital
where he underwent surgery. According to the
team, he sustained injuries to his arm (broken hu-
murous) and back, the same areas that he injured
last year that also put him out of racing prematurely.
Hahn will have to sit out the rest of the Supercross
season, but the team said that he is in good spirits
and is expected to make a full recovery.
