VOL. 52 ISSUE 1 JANUARY 6, 2015 P23 CIANCIARULO ON THE MEND A separated shoulder might have kept Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Adam Ciancia- rulo off the track at the Anaheim Supercross open- er (as well as for the rest of the series for that mat- ter), but that didn't keep him from attending A1 and signing autographs for his fans. While competing in Europe during the "off-sea- son," Cianciarulo crashed and reinjured his shoul- der. "Basically, had surgery two weeks ago, and they're saying three to four months until I can get back on the bike," Cianciarulo said from Anaheim. "That isn't too bad compared to last time [when he was off the bike for six months]. I should be back on the bike in early March and will start getting ready for outdoors. "It was a really bad crash and separated it again, but it [the injury] wasn't too bad, to be honest with you." This is another setback in the young rider's pro career. "The way I look at it is that I turned pro at 16, I'm only 18 now, it's not like I need to rush into things," Cianciarulo reasoned. "I have the full support of the team, they're all sticking behind me. I'm just going to keep plugging away and we won't quit."
