here are some big changes on the horizon
in the MotoGP Championship. And the ETA
for said changes is 2016, which includes
the biggest change of them all—the use of a spec
ECU. The driving force behind these changes is
twofold: the need to cut costs and improve the
show.
For purists, many of these changes were hard
pills to swallow. And there's no greater purist than
a manufacturer spending large quantities of mon-
ey in the R&D-rich environment of prototype rac-
ing. As such, there were many meetings, all aimed
to come up with a compromise that would meet
the demands of the manufacturers and the needs
