dium and Justin Seeds suffering
a DNF, it boosted Yorba into the
fourth spot in the championship
race with Seeds finishing in fifth
for the season.
"I saw Gary coming for me,"
Yorba said. "And, on the last lap
in the pavement section, we both
came in too hot and he pretty
much took both of us out, but
I was able to get up a little bit
quicker than him and still finish
on the podium."
Recently crowned WORCS
Pro 2 Champion Travis Coy made
the jump up to the Pro class for
the season finale, and he finished
in the fifth spot behind Sutherlin,
which was an impressive finish
for the pro rookie.
In the Pro 2 class, John Burr
Cycles' Steve Gibson secured
his third win of the season and
finished an impressive fifth over-
all at the season finale.
"It felt really good to be back
running with the front guys after
missing most of the season after
breaking my heel in Utah," Gib-
son said. "I actually got a pretty
