battle there after the halfway
point and I learned a lot of lines
from him, but he got away, and
I came home with second place.
I started the season off with a
second-place finish, and now I
ended the season with a second.
Hopefully I'll take that momentum
into next year and get a win."
It took him all season but
WORCS Pro rookie Eric Yorba
finally earned a spot on the Pro
podium, and he did it in style—
while wearing a pink superman
cape in honor of breast cancer
awareness month.
"This is my first time on the
podium as a Pro," Yorba said,
"and it took me the whole season
to get up here, but I'm happy. I
must have had a little extra super
powers with the Superman cape
[laugh]. I was working hard these
last couple of months, and it just
really took me the whole year to
figure out what I needed to do to
get up here and run with these
guys. It started to pay off finally
and I'm feeling great."
Yorba's podium finish didn't
come without a fight, though, as
