We were really close one lap, then I caught him in one of the tighter sections, the sandy stuff. He kind of had trouble over a log and I got around him and that was kind of the last I saw of him." For Thomas, The Troll was a mat- ter of gauging his race fitness after his big crash at round five in July. "The last round I was still hurt so went to basically start then pull off in order to get some points," he said. "This round, I felt good for the first lap then I snapped the hydraulic line for the clutch so I had no clutch. If it wasn't a 200, I wouldn't have been able to finish the race. I struggled through and was able to come away with a third."
