looks certain to be called up to
World Superbike with ten Kate,
barring some disaster.
The other Honda rider is still
in question, with Leon Haslam
probably not in the mix but with
offers going out to Eugene Laver-
ty and others. If there is no facto-
ry Aprilia team then the man who
is currently second in the cham-
pionship – Sylvain Guintoli – may
also be in the mix. Guintoli has
won races for Honda's sponsor
Pata in the past, albeit on Ducati
machinery.
As for Honda's World Supers-
port team with van der Mark mov-
ing up… the team is likely to run
just one rider – depending on
funds and sponsorship and the
rider lineup in World Superbike.

BAZ TO MOTOGP?
L
oris Baz is being rumored to make the move MotoGP for 2015,
which would open up a Kawasaki ride in World Superbike. That
ride is likely to go to Jonathan Rea, but other names have been
thrown around – like Eugene Laverty and Alex Lowes, though
Lowes' manager Neil Hodgson said during the broadcast of the
Jerez race that his rider would be staying at Suzuki for 2015.
Laverty making the move to Kawasaki seemed less likely the
more the Jerez weekend went on, and he may also stay with Su-
zuki if there is no Aprilia factory team, or Kawasaki seat for him.
Some say Baz has already signed for the Aspar team for Mo-
toGP, and that is what Dorna is pushing for. Baz, however, denied
it on Friday at Jerez, saying he would need time to decide his
future.

WHERE WILL THEY
GO IN 2015?
T
he debacle of the 2014
World Superbike schedule,
from the outside at least, has
seen an unusually keen inter-
est in what the 2015 version will
look like, and how certain some
of the rounds will be.
It looks like a hard, but logical
start to the season will consist
of having three flyaway rounds
together right at the beginning
of the year.
Phillip Island in Australia will
start things off as usual, with the
