However, a family who claimed that they were the property owners ar- gued that they never granted permis- sion for the racecourse to cross onto their land, so they began to block the trail with ribbon and parked trucks. So Cal members quickly arrived at the scene and asked if the situation could be resolved. When the prop- erty owners reportedly set a $20,000 (Left) Nick Stover, the eventual Lightweight I (250cc) Expert winner, started on the second row and managed to reel in and pass early leader and Heavyweight Expert winner Junior Delgado. (Below) Dalton Shirey started on the third line yet passed everyone except Stover to win the Lightweight II (200cc) Expert class.
