rant Baylor topped a
stacked field of riders
to claim his first career
National Enduro win at the Little
Brown Jug National Enduro in
Union, South Carolina.
The Little Brown Jug is also
Baylor's hometown race and
with his win the FMF/KTM fac-
tory rider made it three genera-
tions of the Baylor clan to win the
race, following in his father's and
his grandfather's footsteps. He's
also the fifth different winner of
the 2014 championship, joining
Charlie Mullins, Brad Bakken,
Andrew DeLong and Jesse Gro-
emm.
Baylor's win didn't come easily,
though. It was a close one. It was
so close, in fact, that after finish-
ing the sixth and final test of the
day, the 17-year-old from nearby
Belton, South Carolina, walked
back down to the out-check
where he waited for Josh Strang
to finish while closely watching
every tick on the clock. Strang
was the only rider left who could
beat out Baylor for the overall win.
When Strang came though, the
AmPro Yamaha/Rocky Mountain
ATV/MC-back rider had reeled
off the fastest time in the test
but it still wasn't enough to catch
Baylor. Just eight seconds ended
up separating Strang from Baylor
for the overall win.
"It is an amazing feeling to
get this win," said Baylor. "It
