"So far my wrists are healing
well, I go to the doctor in two
weeks and hopefully I'll get the
okay to start riding a motorcycle
again," said Mullins. "Right now
I've just been mountain biking and
road biking and just whatever I can
to stay fit. It's been a lengthy re-
covery, but hopefully I'll get some
good news in a couple of weeks."
Mullins said that he's hopeful
he'll be able to get one race un-
der his belt before the GNCC se-
ries is over and then prepare for
the ISDE in Argentina.
"I'm wanting to be ready for the
Powerline GNCC in October; it's
kind of a stretch, but I think it's
doable. My main focus is to try
to be ready for Six Days which
is in November, so if I start rid-
ing the middle of September that
will give me a month and a half.
Right now it's still up in the air, but
hopefully it will work out and I can
represent the country well."
